Terms of Service

By accessing and using Ateminium, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. When a school administrator registers an institution, they accept these terms on behalf of that school. Additional commercial terms (plan, price, billing cycle, trial) are set out in a School Order Form or invoice issued by Ateminium and are incorporated into this agreement.

Ateminium is a cloud-based multi-tenant schools management system that provides educational institutions with tools for managing:

• School registration and platform approval
• Teacher and student account management
• Academic terms, active-term controls, and pass-mark configuration
• Bulk Excel result uploads by teachers
• Term locking, transcript release for download, promotion, and graduation
• Student transcripts and transcript clearance notes
• School withdrawal and data export (when approved)

Ateminium does not currently provide attendance tracking, timetabling, or online fee collection in the product.

Your data privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy which is incorporated into these terms. Processing of school-held student and staff data is further described in Ateminium's Data Processing Schedule, which forms part of the commercial pack sent with a School Order Form.

• Schools maintain ownership of their institutional and academic data
• The school determines what student and teacher data is entered and who may access it within its tenant; Ateminium processes that data to provide the service
• We implement industry-standard security measures (tenant isolation, access controls, encrypted transport)
• School admins may export data through approved withdrawal or export processes

Commercial plans, trials, and pricing are agreed with Ateminium directly via a School Order Form and/or invoice. The platform does not process online card payments inside the application today.

• The School Order Form (or invoice) specifies plan tier, student band, price, currency, trial length if any, and monthly, termly, or annual billing cycles
• Payment methods (bank transfer or authorised handover) are arranged offline unless we enable online billing later
• Non-payment or breach of these terms may lead to suspension after notice
• Pricing changes, when applicable, will be communicated in advance

The Ateminium platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Ateminium and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our prior written consent.

Ateminium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or be available on an uninterrupted basis.

You agree to indemnify and hold Ateminium harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the service immediately ceases
• You may be denied access to your data
• We may retain certain data as required by law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Sudan. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of South Sudan.

We may modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
